Tru Mart

Tru Mart is located inside the Ishwar Krupa Society over in the 411003 area of Pune. We are specifically at D/304. Since we are based in a residential society, we mostly see the same faces every day. It’s a local operation where we keep track of stock and make sure things are available for whoever needs them. Running a mart like this means early mornings and sometimes late nights depending on when people are around. The space isn't huge, but we make use of what we have on the ground. People living in the society just walk over when they realize they forgot something at the bigger markets. We know most of the neighbors by name. It’s not like those giant supermarkets where nobody talks to you. Here, you might stop for five minutes just to chat about the weather or how the local roads are being dug up again. We handle the inventory ourselves and try to keep the shelves organized, though it gets messy when we get new deliveries in. Maharashtra life is busy, and being in a spot like Ishwar Krupa keeps us right in the middle of it. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It's just us looking after the shop and making sure the lights are on. It's a simple way to earn a living and help the folks nearby get what they need without traveling too far.
