Trinity Auto Components

Trinity Auto Components is located way out in Sanaswadi at Gat No 1419-2. If you know the Pune Nagar Road, you know it’s a long stretch with a lot of heavy trucks moving back and forth all day. Our place is near Shikrapur, and it’s basically a big shed where we keep all the parts and components. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for the 18th Cross or the 15th Main Road markers. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of grease and burnt rubber from the factories nearby. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading crates. My back usually hurts by three in the afternoon, but the work has to get done. We deal with a lot of metal pieces that go into bigger machines or vehicles. Everything is heavy and usually covered in a thin layer of protective oil so it doesn't rust while sitting on the shelves. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from spills over the years. We have a small desk in the corner with a dusty computer that we use for the paperwork, but most of our time is spent on the floor checking the stock. The sun hits the metal roof in the summer and it gets incredibly hot inside, so we drink a lot of water. It’s a tough spot to work, but it’s part of the industrial life around here in Po Shikarapur.
