Travel India Company is tucked away in Kasba Peth, right at No 17 in Sharda Plaza. If you are looking for us, we are over by Ratha Peth. It’s one of those parts of Pune where there is always something going on in the streets. We spend our days dealing with all sorts of travel plans for people. Some folks come in wanting to visit family, while others are looking for a quick getaway. We have piles of papers and folders all over the desks because there is always a lot to keep track of. It's not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular room where we drink a lot of tea and talk to customers. Sometimes the internet is slow or the printer acts up, but we manage to get the tickets printed anyway. We’ve been in this building at 342 Kasba Peth for a good while. Most of the shopkeepers nearby know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to help the people who walk through our door. It gets loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the itineraries. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks in. One day it's a student, the next it’s a whole family. We just take it as it comes and do the work.
