Our office is at number 6 in the Ganeshkhind area, located within Avishek Market. We are very close to the Chaturshringi Temple, so we hear the temple bells and the crowds every single day. It is a very lively place to be. Avishek Market is a bit of a maze, but shop number 6 is on the ground level. We handle a lot of travel arrangements from this small corner. There are maps and calendars all over the walls to help us keep track of different routes and schedules. The phone rings a lot, and there is usually someone sitting at the desk writing down names and dates. It is a small operation, and we do everything ourselves, from answering the calls to checking the vehicle logs. During the festival season, the whole area gets incredibly packed with pilgrims and visitors, which makes our job even busier. We don't have fancy brochures or a website that looks like it cost a fortune. We just have our notebooks and the knowledge we’ve gathered over the years about the best roads to take. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but that is part of the charm of working near the temple. We enjoy meeting the different people who come through looking for a way to get somewhere else. It is a small space with a lot of maps and old tea cups sitting on the counter.
