We are tucked away in room 304 B of the Ambika Darshan building right on CP Road in Kandivali East. Most people know the spot because it’s a busy corner. We’ve been here handling travel stuff like foreign currency and holiday bookings for a good while now. It’s not a huge fancy corporate floor, just a regular office where we sit and get work done every day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home towards the station. We handle a lot of paperwork here. People come in to ask about passports or to figure out where they should go for their summer break. We try to keep things simple. Usually, there’s a few of us at our desks with tea or coffee, just looking through files. Kandivali has changed a lot lately, but this building stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s easy enough to find once you know the landmark. We don’t have any big signs flashing everywhere, just the name on the door. It’s a quiet place mostly, until the phones start ringing for flight tickets. We just keep things moving, making sure the tickets are printed and the money is sorted. If you’re around CP Road, you probably see us heading out for lunch at the local stalls nearby. It’s just how we run things here in Mumbai.
