Thikri Chai Llp is located in the Jaimala Nagar area of Sangavi. Our specific spot is at H No 500/8, Sno6-2-K17. Chai is a big part of life in Pune, and we are right in the middle of it. Sangavi is a crowded place with lots of small lanes and people moving about constantly. We are just a small group of people who decided to start something of our own. The day usually starts with the sound of the milk delivery and the smell of tea leaves. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of washing up and scrubbing counters. We have a small space, so we have to stay organized, or everything becomes a mess within an hour. Sometimes the tea doesn't taste exactly the same because the water or the milk varies, and we have to adjust. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't use any big marketing words to describe what we do. We just make chai. People in the neighborhood know where we are. We have some regulars who come by at the same time every day. It’s nice to have that routine. The building isn't anything special, just a standard Pune house structure. We focus on the daily tasks and try to make sure we don't run out of ginger or sugar before the day ends. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast when you are busy.
