We have our space here in Flat No. 11, located in Sector 15 of New Panvel. It’s a residential-style building, which is common for some of our smaller regional setups. Being in Navi Mumbai means we are a bit further out from the main city, but it’s much easier to get to the industrial areas from here. Our work at Thermax usually involves a lot of technical stuff related to energy and the environment, but this specific office is where we handle the local paperwork and meeting notes. It’s a plain room with a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with clients or coordinating with the main office. There’s usually a pot of tea going and the windows are often open to let in some air during the afternoon. New Panvel has grown a lot recently, so there are more shops and places to eat around us now. We don't have a big flashy entrance; you just come up the stairs and ring the bell. It’s a practical place for us to gather and plan out our site visits or go over technical drawings. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to people going into central Mumbai. We just try to stay on top of the projects we have and make sure nothing falls through the cracks during the week. It’s a quiet but busy spot.
