The St. Anne'S High School

The St. Anne'S High School is over on Convent Street in the Camp area, specifically at number 1998. It’s a well-known street, and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for as long as anyone can remember. The building has that old-school feel to it, which makes sense given where we are. It’s not a place for flashy displays or corporate office vibes. We have regular classrooms with wooden desks and boards that have seen plenty of use. The routine here is pretty set in stone. We get here early, get the gates open, and start the day. There is always a bit of a scramble when the kids arrive, and then things settle down into the usual quiet of a school day. We don't talk much about visions or goals in a formal way; we just focus on the lessons and making sure the school stays clean. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces, but we all just get on with it. Convent Street is usually busy with people coming and going, but once you step inside, it feels like its own little world. We have our fair share of broken window latches and creaky doors, but it’s a place with character. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, providing a place for kids to go to high school in this part of Camp. It is simple work.
