We started The Momos in Shivaji Nagar 8 because we just really liked eating them ourselves. It is a small place, really nothing fancy if you look at it. Most of the day is just us in the back chopping up vegetables and getting the dough ready. It takes a lot of time to get the fillings right, but we don't mind the work. People usually stop by when they are done with their jobs or just passing through the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and you might have to stand for a bit, but that is how it goes. We use the same steamer we bought when we first opened up. It is a little old now but it still does the job perfectly fine for us. We don't do any big ads or social media stuff. Most people find us because they live nearby or their friends told them about the spot. The tables are small and we have these basic wooden chairs. We try to keep things clean, but it gets a bit messy during the monsoon when everyone wants something hot. It is just a regular shop for a quick bite to eat. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just making the food we know how to make. Shivaji Nagar is a busy place and we are glad to be tucked away here. If you are around and feeling hungry, come find us at number 8.
