Most people around here know us because of the Swami Snack Center. That’s where everything for Ganesh Caterers and Solutions happens. It’s a busy little spot and there is usually a lot of steam and the smell of spices in the air from early morning. We aren't one of those big catering firms with a massive warehouse or a fleet of trucks. We work right out of the snack center kitchen. It’s a bit tight when we have a big order to get out for a party, but we make it work somehow. Usually, you’ll find someone chopping vegetables or stirring a big pot while someone else is trying to answer the phone. It gets loud, especially during the lunch rush when the regular customers come in. We started doing the catering side of things because people kept asking if we could bring the food to their private events. It wasn’t something we planned out with a big business strategy or anything. It just kind of happened over time because people liked the taste. We use the same ingredients we serve at the counter. The floors are always being swept and the sinks are usually full of dishes that need washing. It’s hard work and your back hurts at the end of the day, but that’s just how it is in the food business. We aren't fancy and we don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just cook and deliver.
