Down in Pimpri at Lohar Chawl, things are always moving fast. We called this place The Hangout because that is pretty much what people do here. There is nothing very formal about it. We have some chairs and tables that have seen better days, but they do the job. The area is quite industrial and busy, so there is always a layer of grit on the windows that we have to clean off every morning. We get a lot of workers and people from the neighborhood who just want a break from the noise outside. It can get a bit cramped during the lunch hour, and sometimes people have to share tables with strangers. We don't mind, and usually, they don't either. The lighting is a bit dim in the back corner, but some people like sitting there to get away from the sun. We don't have a big menu with pictures; it’s just what we have for the day. Sometimes we forget to update the chalkboard. If the tea is too sweet or the water is cold, people tell us, and we fix it. It is just a basic spot in the middle of a loud part of town. We’ve been at this address for a while, and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It isn't a place for a fancy meeting, just for sitting down. We just keep the lights on and the door open.
