The Bishop'S School

You will find The Bishop’S School over at 5-A, General Bhagat Marg in the Camp area. It’s a big, old campus with a lot of stone buildings that have been around for a very long time. Walking through the gates feels like stepping back a bit. We are a boys' school, and as you can imagine, it gets pretty loud and energetic during the day. The fields are a big part of life here; there is always someone playing cricket or football. We don’t really do fancy sales pitches. People know the name and they know where we are. The classrooms are large with high ceilings, which helps during the hotter months in Pune. We have our traditions, like the morning drills and the specific ways we do things, but at the end of the day, we are just a school trying to teach kids. The teachers here are quite dedicated, often staying late to help out with sports or extra lessons. It’s a busy life on General Bhagat Marg. We have plenty of trees on the grounds, which is nice. Sometimes the traffic outside the gates is a mess, but inside, things follow a set rhythm that hasn’t changed much in years. It is a solid place with deep roots in this part of town, and we just keep going. Every morning when the bell rings, we just start another day like the many before it.
