Technic Engineering

The shop here at Technic Engineering is located right near Sonevaya Awasthi in the Chikhali area. If you are heading down Chikhali Road towards Jyotiba Nagar, you will probably pass us. It’s an industrial kind of spot, so there is always the sound of metal and machines going in the background. We have been in this space for some time now. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to it. Most of our days are spent dealing with repairs and making parts that people need for their equipment. It’s greasy work sometimes, and our hands are rarely clean by lunch. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who know how to handle the tools. We don't spend money on fancy signs or glossy brochures. We just open up the shutters in the morning and get to work. The location near Sonevaya Awasthi is convenient because a lot of other workshops are around here too. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help a neighbor out. That is just how Chikhali is. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If something needs fixing or a part needs to be turned, we do it. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We clean up, lock the doors, and head home to get ready for the next day. It is a long day usually.
