Techneit Engineers

You can find us at 27/5, Tathare Mala, right across from the Bollywood Theater in Kharadi. It’s a busy area, especially when a big movie is playing. Techneit Engineers is located in a spot that’s easy to find but hard to park near. We’ve been here for several years. The office is small and usually smells like machine oil and old paper. We spend most of our time working on designs or checking parts that come back from the shop. It’s a noisy environment because of all the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. My desk is right by the window, so I get to see everyone walking by. We aren't the kind of company that has a big human resources department or a PR team. It’s just us. We handle everything from the initial phone call to the final delivery ourselves. Sometimes the work gets overwhelming and we have to put in long hours over the weekend, but we don't mind too much. It’s a small price to pay for being our own bosses. We eat a lot of takeout from the stalls nearby. The chai guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the engineering right. We just want to do a decent job and go home to our families at night. Sometimes we stay late just to avoid the traffic jam after the movie shows end.
