Resigned From Fichtner Consulting Engineers

This setup involves someone who was previously with Fichtner Consulting Engineers and is now working from C002 at Ekta Residency. This is over in Plot No. 14, Sector 6, which is in the Khanda Colony part of New Panvel West. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main city center. The office is basically just a room in the residency building. There is a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of engineering books and documents scattered around. After leaving a big firm, things are a lot different now. There isn't a receptionist or a big IT department to help out. If the printer breaks, we have to fix it ourselves. We spend our time looking over technical drawings and consulting on various engineering projects. It’s a lot of quiet work, focusing on the details that others might miss. Sometimes neighbors walk by and say hello while we are working. It’s a very local feel here. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or old contacts from the industry. It is a simple way to work, away from the corporate noise. We just take on the projects that come our way and try to give honest advice based on what we know. It is practical and straightforward work without any of the extra stuff you get in a big office.
