Tea Traders

Tea Traders is based at No.44, More Vidyalaya Chowk. We are on Paud Road in Kothrud. If you know Kothrud, you know that Paud Road is one of those places that never really stops. More Vidyalaya Chowk is a landmark that most locals are familiar with, so we usually tell people to look for the school. Our building is right there. It’s a busy spot, and we are right in the thick of it. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and boxes of tea samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who are looking to buy or sell. It’s a trading business, so things move fast. One day we might have a lot of stock, and the next day it’s all gone. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a place where business gets done over a cup of tea. The noise from the chowk outside can be pretty loud during rush hour, but you get used to it after a while. We have been here at number 44 for a good bit now. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a no-nonsense kind of operation. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We just trade tea and try to do a decent job of it. It’s what we know. We close up around the same time every evening.
