Taj Frozen Foods India Ltd

Down in Mawadi K.P, which is part of the Purandar Taluka in Pune district, you’ll find our facility. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city, which actually works out well for what we do at Taj Frozen Foods India Ltd. The air is a bit clearer out here than it is in the middle of Pune. We are right at the Post office area, so people around here know us well enough. The building is large and mostly functional, with a lot of space for the equipment and the storage areas. It gets pretty cold in certain sections, obviously, because of the frozen goods, so we usually have our jackets handy even when it’s boiling outside. We spend a lot of time checking the temperature gauges and making sure everything is running the way it should. It’s not the kind of office where people wear suits. Most of us are in practical clothes that can handle a bit of dirt or moisture. The commute for some of us involves riding through the countryside, which is nice in the monsoon when everything turns green. There isn't a lot of noise out here besides the sound of the machines and the trucks coming in to load up. We eat our lunch together in a small break room. It’s honest work and we stay busy from sunrise until the evening. We don’t have any fancy brochures about ourselves, we just stay focused on the daily tasks.
