Swayambhu Tours

Our office is out in Talegaon Dabhade, at house number 60. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it that way. The air is a little fresher and things move at a slower pace. We’ve been running Swayambhu Tours from this spot for a long time now. The building is just a simple structure, and our room is filled with notebooks and old maps. We spend a lot of time talking to the local people who want to go on pilgrimages or visit family far away. Since we are near the highway, we see a lot of travelers passing through. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. There’s a wooden bench outside where people sit and wait if we are already talking to someone. We do everything ourselves, from taking the bookings to checking the vehicles. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we are used to it. Talegaon is a good community, and we feel like we are a part of it. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s honest work, and it keeps us connected to the people around us. Every day brings something a little different, and that’s fine by us. We close the shutters around seven and head home.
