You can find us over at Shriram Colony in Shastri Nagar, right in the Kothrud area. It’s a bit more of a residential spot compared to the big main roads. We mostly do creative work here, things like traditional designs, maybe some stitching or craft items. The space is filled with fabrics and threads of all different colors. It can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of orders going on at once. There’s usually a couple of sewing machines running, which makes a steady humming sound throughout the day. We started this because we liked making things by hand. It’s not a factory; it’s more like a small studio where we sit and work on the details. Sometimes neighbors pop in just to say hello or see what we’re working on. The light in the afternoon is really good through the front window, which helps when we're doing the fine work. We keep a lot of our patterns in old folders on the shelves. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the art and the clothes we make. We don't really do much advertising; people mostly find us by word of mouth in the colony. It feels like a home office more than anything else, which is how we like it. The smell of incense usually hangs in the air because we light some every morning when we open the door to start the day's tasks.
