Riddhi Decor

Budhwar Peth is where we spend most of our time. It is always busy outside the door here at Riddhi Decor. We have been in this part of Pune for quite a while now. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of things inside. You can find stacks of cloth, some lights, and various bits and pieces we use for decorating venues. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of sweeping because the street dust gets everywhere. We don’t really have a big office or anything fancy like that. There is just a wooden desk and some chairs where we sit and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the traffic, but we are used to it by now. My nephew helps me with the lifting when we have a big job to prepare for. We spend hours sorting through different materials and making sure everything is ready to go. It is just honest work. We don’t do any big advertisements. People usually just know we are here because they have seen us around Budhwar Peth for years. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit of tea when it is quiet. The rainy season makes things a bit slow, but there is always something to clean or fix in the shop. We just keep going one day at a time, handling whatever decor needs people bring to us. It’s not a complicated life here.
