K B S Creations

K B S Creations is based out of Shivaji Nagar, right near the Drc Post at C/7. We’ve been operating from this small unit for a few years now. It’s a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the sign near the corner. We spend most of our time at our workbenches, surrounded by materials and tools. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with scraps of paper and bits of thread everywhere, but we know where everything is. We started doing this because we like making things with our hands. It’s not a big factory; it’s just a few of us who know how to put things together. We don’t have a fancy office or a secretary. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk while we work, and other days we’re rushing to finish a project before the sun goes down. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. People usually find us because someone they know told them about the work we do. We like it that way. It keeps things personal. The building at C/7 has been around for ages, and it’s got its quirks, like the window that won't quite shut all the way. But it’s our space and we’re here every day, just making what we make.
