Swagat Travels

Our place is located at 283 Ganesh Peth, over at Mahadev Tekra 1 on Vastral Road. We are also part of Prestige Point at shop 83. It’s a bit of a walk if you aren't familiar with the area, but most locals know the way. Swagat Travels is a busy little hub where we spend most of our hours. There are usually a couple of us sitting at the desks with various ledgers and computer screens open. The walls have some old calendars and a few photos. Ganesh Peth is a crowded area, so there's always something going on outside the window. We spend a lot of time talking to bus operators and checking on ticket availability. It’s not always easy keeping everything straight, especially when the internet goes slow or a bus gets delayed. We take a lot of notes on scraps of paper that somehow stay organized in our own way. People come in looking for a way to get to the next town or to visit family, and we look at the schedules to see what fits. It’s a simple routine of answering phones and writing out details. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to get work done. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when too many people are in at once, but we just keep going. It’s a bit chaotic but we manage fine.
