Suprimo Engineers

Suprimo Engineers is set up at 37/2 Sinhagad Road, right in Chavan Nagar and not too far from Pari Company. It is a regular engineering shop where the floor is always covered in metal filings and the smell of cutting oil. We have been at this location for a good stretch of time. Most of our day is spent at the lathes or welding benches. It gets quite bright and hot when the welding starts, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. We are not a large operation, just a few of us working on whatever projects come our way each week. Sometimes we are machining small components, and other times we are trying to fix a piece of equipment that looks like it belongs in a museum. It is loud work, and we usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background, though you can barely hear it over the drills. We keep our tools on big wooden boards on the wall so we don't lose them in the mess. There is always a stack of blueprints or rough sketches sitting on the workbench that we look at while we eat our lunch. It is just a practical place for getting metal work done without any fuss. We stay until the light goes, then lock up and head home for the night. This address has been our second home for many years and we just keep the machines running.
