Sunsu Winery Private Limited

We are located in the Dhayari area of Pune, specifically over at Omega Heritage on Dsk Road. The business is tucked away in the 'C' wing, which might seem like a strange place for a winery, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time surrounded by bottles and crates. The air has that distinct smell of fermenting fruit, which you get used to after a few days. It is a lot of waiting around for things to age properly. We have some machines for the bottling part, and they make a fair bit of noise when they are running. The 'Rhno-11' unit is where most of the heavy stuff happens. We don't have a massive vineyard outside the window or anything like that; it’s more of a practical workspace. Some days we are just cleaning filters and checking temperatures to make sure nothing is going wrong with the batches. It can be a bit lonely sometimes when you are just monitoring the vats by yourself. The road outside is busy with people going towards the heritage area, but inside it is mostly just us and the wine. We handle all the labels and the corking ourselves. It’s a slow process and you can't really rush it. We just take it day by day and hope the next batch turns out alright. It’s a lot of patience, but that is part of the job.
