Sujata Cold Drink House

Sujata Cold Drink House is located over in Sadashiv Peth at JB Nagar 126. It’s a small shop, nothing too big or flashy. We spend most of our time making sure the refrigerators are running right and staying cold. In this heat, you really need a cold drink to get through the day, so we stay pretty busy during the afternoons. The street outside can get pretty cramped with bikes and people walking by, but it’s a good spot for a shop like ours. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people on the block by their first names. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are when they get thirsty. Usually, the shop is full of the sound of ice clinking and bottles opening. We keep things pretty basic. There isn't a lot of extra space inside, so it's a quick stop for most folks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to keep things from getting warm, but that’s just part of running a business here in Sadashiv Peth. We try to keep things clean and organized, though it gets a bit messy when we are really busy during the summer months. It’s just me and a couple of others working here most days. We talk to the customers about the weather or whatever else is happening in JB Nagar.
