You can find us near Akashwani on the Pune Solapur Road. Sugar Rush Foods Llp is located at Survey No.14, right by Gupta Traders in Hadap Sar. It is a dusty part of the road with a lot of trucks passing by at all hours. We set up here because there was enough space for our heavy equipment and storage. We make sweets and various snacks. It is a sticky business, literally. There is always the smell of sugar and frying oil in the air. We are not a big factory with robots. It is just us and a few workers using traditional methods to make things. We have some large vats and long tables for cooling the treats down. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially near the stoves. We started this as a small partnership to make the kind of snacks we grew up eating. It is not a polished operation. The floors need sweeping every hour, and the packaging area is always a bit chaotic. We do not have a marketing department at all. Word of mouth has been our main way of getting customers. People stop by the gate sometimes to buy directly from us. We handle the deliveries to local shops ourselves. It is hard work, and our hands are usually tired by the end of the day. But it is good to see the bags loaded onto the trucks.
