Subhash Engineering Works

Subhash Engineering Works is located at E-31 in the Bhureswar Co. Industrial Estate. This place is full of workshops just like ours, all doing their own thing. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find our unit, you’ll see we are always in the middle of some project. We handle a lot of metalwork and mechanical stuff. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes because everything is covered in a thin layer of oil or dust. We’ve been operating out of this estate for years. The guys here have seen it all, from old manual machines to the newer stuff we’ve brought in over time. We don't really have an office staff; we just handle the paperwork on a small desk in the corner when we have a spare minute. Most of the time, we are out on the floor. It’s a loud environment with the sound of grinding and welding constantly in the background. We prefer it that way. It means things are getting done. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around through people who have used us before. We just try to stay busy and keep the machines in good shape. It’s a gritty, hard-working atmosphere, and it suits us just fine.
