Stec India Pvt.Ltd. is based in the S R Iriz building on the Baner - Pashan Link Road, right in the Pashan area. It’s a more modern part of town, so the surroundings are a bit different than the old industrial zones. We spend our days in the office working on various technical projects. The space is filled with desks, computers, and a lot of cables running everywhere. It’s not a retail shop where people just walk in off the street, so it’s usually quite focused and quiet inside. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and coffee, which is where most of our planning actually happens. The Baner - Pashan Link Road can get pretty jammed during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated group of people trying to get our work right. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do; we just take the tasks as they come and try to find practical solutions. Sometimes we stay late when a project is nearing its deadline, but that’s just how it is in this field. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. It’s a straightforward workplace where we just get on with things and try to stay organized as best as we can.
