State Street Syntel Services Pvt. Ltd is where we work. Our address is a bit of a mix, showing as Flat No-21 at Sai Palace-3. We are near the Ramakrishna Mangal Karlaya in Dapodi. Interestingly, the address mention also lists New York and Pune, but we are mostly focused on the Pune side of things here in India. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s not like being in a huge glass skyscraper. We work on service-related tasks and it keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. The office is inside a flat, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a standard corporate floor. We have our computers set up and we spend most of the day handling data and talking to people. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to go through. We don't really do the whole fancy office culture thing. We just focus on getting through the workload. The local area in Dapodi is fairly quiet compared to the main city center. We usually just grab lunch from the local spots nearby. It’s a regular job for us. We deal with the usual stuff like slow internet or the air conditioning making funny noises. We just keep going and make sure everything is taken care of. It’s a practical way to work and it suits us just fine. There are about ten of us in the room most days.
