Modi Crackers & Fire Work

Prestige Plaza C Block 1 is where we keep the shop. If you come by during the festival season, you will see us very busy. We have boxes stacked up high against the walls. It is a lot of work to make sure everything is stored the right way because safety is a big thing with fireworks. We sell all the usual items like sparklers and those loud ground crackers that kids like. People come here from all over the neighborhood when there is a wedding or a big celebration happening. Sometimes the noise in the plaza gets a bit much, but that is part of the trade. We have been in this spot for a good number of years now. Most of the year it is quiet, and we spend that time getting things ready for the big rush. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a practical space where you can see what you are buying. The counters are old wood and we write out the bills by hand most of the time. It is a family thing, so you will see my cousins or my brother helping out when it gets crowded. We just try to make sure everyone gets what they need for their party and goes home happy. It is a simple business, really. We just open up, sell the stock, and talk to the regulars who come back every single year to see what new things we have in the boxes.
