St Arnolds Central School

Out here in Vadgaon Sheri, specifically at the SVD Campus on Nagar Road, things stay pretty lively. We’re right near Sun City, so the landmark is easy enough for people to find. St Arnolds Central School has a good bit of space, but with the Nagar Road traffic, it never feels truly quiet. We start the generators when the power cuts happen and keep the classes moving. The campus has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the older buildings. We don't bother with fancy slogans or marketing talk. Most of our day is spent handling small things, like a broken chair or a parent who needs a certificate. It’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of talking. We like being in this part of Vadgaon Sheri because it’s a mix of everything. You’ve got the busy road on one side and the more residential parts on the other. Our staff comes from all over the city, so the lunchroom is always full of different stories. We just try to provide a steady environment for the kids. It’s not always perfect; sometimes the grass gets too long or the paint peels. But we just get the gardener or the painter and fix it. That’s just the reality of looking after a big place like this on a daily basis. By the time the weekend comes, we’re all pretty tired but ready to do it again next week.
