We are located over in Shivajinagar at Dattaprasad in the Revenue Colony area. It is a bit of an older part of town, which we actually like because it has more character than the new glass buildings they are putting up. Srujan Health Foods is our small venture, and we run it out of this space where things can get a bit tight sometimes when a new shipment arrives. The building 1170/10 has been around for a while now. Most of our day is spent handling health food items, checking labels, and making sure the storage temperature is staying where it should be. It is not just sitting at a desk; there is a lot of lifting and moving heavy crates around. Sometimes the heavy rains make the street outside a bit messy, but that is just life in this neighborhood. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything, just a small one to let people know they are in the right place. We started this because we had an interest in what people were eating these days. My cousin helps me out with the books, and we have one guy who handles most of the local deliveries. It is a small operation, really. We drink a lot of tea while we plan out the schedule for the coming week. There is always something to do, whether it is answering the phone or cleaning the floors after a big shipment gets dropped off. We just take it one day at a time.
