Soda Chip

Soda Chip is over at Plot No- 92 in Jay Bhavani Nagar. We are in the Pimple Gurav area, very close to the PMT Bus Depot. Because of the bus depot, there is always a lot of noise and people moving around. You can hear the engines starting up early in the morning and the whistling of the conductors. We make snacks and drinks here. It is a small place but we keep it busy. The shelves are usually full of whatever we just finished making. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the equipment and the bags of ingredients. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people who come here are locals or people who work at the depot. They want something quick to eat or drink while they are on their break. The floors are concrete and we spend a lot of time cleaning up after the fryers or the bottling. It gets really hot in the back where the machines are running. We drink a lot of water and try to stay cool. Sometimes we run out of certain things if the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic near the depot. It is just a small neighborhood business trying to keep up with the daily demand. We don’t do anything fancy, just standard snacks that people like to munch on.
