S?Ndipani School

You can find us over by Hazari Pahad, near the Friends Colony area. We are tucked away near the Katol Amravati Bypass, so it is a bit quieter than being right in the middle of the city. The bypass is handy for some of the staff who commute from further out. The school itself is a collection of buildings where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a silent place by any means. There is always some noise coming from the classrooms or the kids playing outside. We have some trees around the grounds which provide a bit of shade when it gets really hot in the summer. The walk up to the school can be a bit dusty if it hasn't rained in a while. Inside, things are pretty basic. We have our classrooms, the office where we handle all the paperwork, and a place for the kids to eat. It feels like a normal part of the Hazari Pahad landscape. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. It's more about having a solid place for the students to be every day. The teachers are usually busy marking papers or preparing for the next hour. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we deal with it. It’s just how things are. We’re here every morning, ready to start the day. The school bus arrives early and the gatekeeper is always the first one here.
