Sky Engineering Works

We've been running Sky Engineering Works out of this spot in Shivane for quite a while now. If you head behind the Agrawal Godown, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s not a fancy place, mostly just some heavy machines and the sound of metal being worked on all day. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and checking what needs to get done before the afternoon heat kicks in. It gets pretty dusty around here because of the trucks coming in and out of the warehouse area, but we’re used to it. The workshop is where we spend most of our time. Sometimes the machines act up or a part doesn't arrive on time, and that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We don't really have a big office or anything. It's just us doing the jobs as they come in. People from around Shivane know where to find us if they need something fixed or fabricated. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, by the time evening rolls around, we’re just cleaning up the scraps and making sure the shutters are locked tight. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless it's an order. It's more about the tools and getting the dimensions right. Being tucked away behind the godown means it’s a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on a tricky piece of welding.
