Simran Collection

We started Simran Collection here in Nutan Prasad Society some years back. Kothrud is a busy part of Pune and being at number 6 means we see a lot of people walking by every day. It’s mostly just us handling the clothes and making sure things are neat on the shelves. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when new stock arrives but we manage. People come in looking for something specific or just to browse around. We keep things simple here. There’s no big fancy display, just the racks and the items we’ve picked out. My cousin helps out when it gets busy. Usually, it’s quiet in the afternoons before the evening rush starts. We’ve known most of our neighbors for a long time now. It’s a small space but it works for what we need. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just sit outside for a bit. We don't really do much advertising, word of mouth has mostly been how people find us. It feels like home because we spend so much time here. The shelves are wooden and old, but they hold everything just fine. You can find us right near the main gate of the society. It’s easy to spot once you’re in the area. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of fabric get a little high. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy with customers and orders all day long.
