Sakshi Creation

Sakshi Creation is based in the Narayan Complex, unit 211, in Hinge Khurd. We are right near the Nyanprasarak School, so you can always hear the kids playing during their break times. It’s a local neighborhood, not a big commercial district. Our space is more like a workshop than a formal office. We have sewing machines, rolls of fabric, and racks of clothes all over the place. It’s quite colorful but definitely a bit messy. There is usually thread on the floor and scraps of cloth on the tables. We spend most of our time designing and putting things together. People from the area often drop in to see what we are working on. It’s a small team of us, and we’ve known each other for a long time. The Narayan Complex is a bit older, so the stairs are narrow and the hallways can be dark sometimes. But once you’re inside our unit, it’s bright and busy. We don’t have a website or anything like that; most of our work comes from word of mouth in the Hinge Khurd community. It’s a simple life. We start early in the morning and work until the light goes. Sometimes the power cuts out, and we just take a break until it comes back. It’s just how things go here at Sakshi Creation. We put a lot of effort into every piece we make, and our tables are always covered in pins and chalk marks. It’s a busy, creative spot that keeps us occupied all week.
