Mahesh Dresses

Our shop, Mahesh Dresses, is located at 430 Mangalwar Peth, right by the Narpat Giri Chowk. We are inside the Audhumbar Heritage building, which is quite close to the Royal Motor shop and the Dutta Mandir. This part of the city is very old and the streets are always full of people, rickshaws, and the smell of street food. We sell all kinds of dresses and clothing for women and children. The shop is quite small, so we have to stack the boxes and clothes pretty high to fit everything in. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends when everyone is out shopping in the Peth area. We have been here for many years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. People come to us when they need an outfit for a festival or just something new to wear for a family gathering. We don't have the big bright lights or the fancy changing rooms that you see in the big malls. It is just a traditional shop where we help you find what you like from the stacks of fabric. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three or four families are in here at once, but we are used to the noise. The sound of the temple bells from Dutta Mandir is a constant background to our workday. We stay open until late because that is when the market is the most active.
