I run my small business from 756 Sadashiv Peth. Most people recognize the building because it’s right opposite the Sawan Sadi Centre. It is a busy area with people constantly looking for clothes and household items. My setup is quite simple and I handle most things myself. I have a small room where I keep all my supplies and tools. It’s not a large office or a retail store with glass windows. It’s more of a personal workspace where I can focus on what needs to get done. I’ve been in this spot for a while now and I’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers nearby. We often share a cup of tea in the afternoons when things slow down a bit. My work involves a lot of attention to detail and I spend many hours sitting at my desk. Sometimes I lose track of time because there is always something to finish. I don't have a big team or a fancy marketing plan. Most people find out about me through word of mouth or by just walking past the building. I try to stay organized, but sometimes papers pile up or I misplace a pen. It’s just how it goes when you’re working on your own. I appreciate the quiet moments when the street noise fades away and I can just get through my daily list. It’s a modest way to make a living in Pune and I stay fairly busy.
