Shambhavi Kolahpur Darbar

Our place is on the first floor over in Sadashiv Peth. You have to walk up the stairs near the Perugate Police Chowki Road to get to us. It is right across from Canara Bank and quite close to Bharat Natay Mandir. Pune can be a very busy city, especially in this neighborhood. We see a lot of people walking by all day long. The room is usually filled with the sound of plates and people talking. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. It is just a regular setup with tables and chairs for whoever needs a seat. Shambhavi Kolahpur Darbar is where we spend all our hours from morning until late evening. The air smells like the food we cook in the back. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour and people have to wait a little bit. We try to keep the tables clean as soon as someone leaves. The windows look out onto the street so you can see the traffic moving below. It is a practical spot for a meal if you are around Sadashiv Peth. We don't do anything too complicated here. We just show up, open the doors, and start the day. Most of our regulars are people who work in the nearby shops or offices. They know us by name and we know what they usually like. It is a simple way to run a business and we have been doing it this way for years. That is just how we do things here.
