Monalisa

Our place, Monalisa, is tucked away in Old Panvel. We are in the Nilkamal Bungalow, which is right behind the S.T. Depot. If you are coming this way, just look for the Ichhapurti Ganesh Mandir, we are right opposite that. It’s a nice, quiet spot compared to the main road. Being behind the bus depot means we always hear the buses coming and going, which is sort of a background rhythm for us. The bungalow has been converted into our workspace. It feels more like a home than a shop or an office, which we like. We don’t have many employees, just a few of us handling things. We don’t use much jargon or fancy business talk. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The temple across from us brings a lot of peace to the area, especially in the mornings. Sometimes we step out for a quick tea at the stall nearby. It’s a simple life here in Panvel. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just walking past the depot. We just keep things running and try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who drops in. It’s just us doing our thing every day without any fuss or bother.
