Smruti Creation

You can find us at Plot No. 7 in Asha Vasti, right off Vijapur Road. We operate out of the same space as G M Sathe, so you might see his name on the gate when you arrive. Smruti Creation is a small workshop where we do different kinds of creative projects and making things for people. It’s a bit of a mixed space with tools on one side and some desks with computers on the other. The area around Vijapur Road is always growing, so there is usually some construction noise or dust blowing in from the street. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who like building things. Sometimes we are working on a design on the screen, and other times we are physically putting something together with our hands. It gets a bit cluttered in here because we hate throwing away materials that might be useful later on. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some extra lamps that we move around depending on what we are doing. We don’t really have fixed hours sometimes; if a project is interesting, we might stay late to finish it up. It’s a modest setup and we aren't looking to make it into some big factory. We just like having a place where we can work on our own terms and help out the locals who need something created for their own homes or small businesses.
