Shriniwas Engineering Auto Components Pvt. Ltd. is located out near the M.I.D.C area in Talegaon. Our place is on Survey No. 492. It is a bit of a drive to get out here but being near the industrial zone makes sense for the kind of work we do with auto components. The shop floor is usually busy and there is always some machine running in the background. We have been here for a bit and seen how the area has changed over the years. It used to be much quieter but now there are more factories and trucks around. We mostly deal with parts that go into cars and other vehicles. It is dusty work sometimes and the hours can be long depending on the schedule. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just come in and we talk about what parts they need made. The weather out here in Talegaon can get quite hot in the summer, which makes the workshop feel even warmer. We just drink plenty of water and keep the fans going. It is a basic setup where the focus is on the machines and the metal. Most of us have been working with these components for a long time. We know the smell of the grease and the sound of the cutters by heart now. It is just a regular job for us and we get it done. The days are long but we don't mind much.
