Shrinivas Engineering

Shrinivas Engineering is located in the Adinathnagar area of Bhosari, Pune. Our workshop is on a plot that’s a bit off the main path, right opposite where Bagal Advocate has his place. Bhosari is a very industrial part of town, so there is always the sound of grinding or metal hitting metal coming from somewhere nearby. We work out of Darekar Nivas, which is a building that has seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is concrete and often has a bit of oil or grease on it because that’s just the nature of engineering work. We have a few lathes and other machines that take up most of the space on the ground level. Upstairs is where we keep the computer and do the billing. It’s usually quite dusty because of all the construction and industrial activity in the S.R. 692/1C/2 area. We don't have a fancy sign, just the name on the door and our address for people who need to find us. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we all know the shortcuts to avoid the heavy traffic on the highway. We drink tea twice a day, usually while standing around the workbench talking about how to fix a particular part that’s giving us trouble. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve got a good routine going here in Pune. We just take each job as it comes and try to stay on schedule.
