Shrinivas Engineering Works

Shrinivas Engineering Works is tucked away in Talwade, which is a place full of small workshops just like ours. We have been working here for quite a while now, mostly dealing with lathe work and some basic fabrication. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there is always the smell of machine oil in the air. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room because that is not how we do things here. If you come by, you will likely find us at the back near the machines. It is noisy and we have to shout sometimes to hear each other over the sound of the drills. Talwade gets very busy during the day with all the transport vehicles moving in and out of the narrow lanes. We handle whatever engineering jobs come through the door, from fixing a broken gear to making custom brackets for local factories. It is not always easy work, especially when a machine breaks down or the power goes out, which happens more than we like. My father started this place with just one machine and we have slowly added a couple more over the years. We keep our tools clean even if the floor isn't. It is just a straightforward engineering shop where we focus on getting the work done so the customer can get back to their own business. We are just local people trying to make a living in the industrial belt of Talwade.
