Shri Krishna Engineering

We've been here at Plot 290 in Sector 7 for a while now. It's right in the middle of the MIDC Bhosari area, near the Jashodanagar cross road. People around here know us as Shri Krishna Engineering. The shop is busy most days because there’s always something that needs fixing or making. My uncle started this place and we just kept it going. We do a lot of metal work and mechanical stuff. It’s a dusty part of town but that’s where all the real work happens. Sometimes it gets loud with the machines running but that is just how it is. We try to keep the place organized even though it’s small. You can find us easily if you know the Jashodanagar landmark. We aren't some big fancy company with a lobby or anything. It's just a workshop with tools and a few guys who know how to use them. We spend most of our time out on the floor, not sitting in an office. If someone comes by with a part that's broken, we take a look and see what can be done. It's a straightforward way to earn a living. The traffic around the PCNTDA area can be a bit of a mess in the evenings, so we usually start early. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We aren't going anywhere anytime soon. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
