Shri Engineers

Shri Engineers is located at Gat No.255/A, Bldg No.253 in the Jyotiba Nagar Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t used to the layout of the estate. Our building is a sturdy concrete structure that has seen a lot of use over the years. Inside, the floors are usually covered in a bit of metal shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for an engineering shop in this area. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door; you usually just walk in and find one of us near the machines. The Jyotiba Nagar area is full of small units like ours, so there is a constant hum of activity throughout the day. We spend most of our time troubleshooting and making sure the parts we are working on are coming out right. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the shop, usually talking about the work or what’s happening in the neighborhood. The heat in the building can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just Shri Engineers, a local shop in an industrial estate trying to do a decent job for the people who hire us. It’s honest work, and we like the community of workers around here.
