We have been here at Gat No. 1609 on Dehu Alandi Road for a while now. It is mostly a busy spot with lots of workshops around Shelar Wasti. My team and I handle the engineering side of things. We started small, just a few machines and a lot of grease on our hands. People drop by when they need something fixed or made from scratch. It is noisy and dusty, but that is how a workshop usually is. Most days we are just busy with the lathes and welding. We don't really have a big office or anything fancy like that. It’s just us doing the work. The traffic on the road can get pretty bad in the evenings, so we try to get most things finished before the sun goes down. Sometimes customers stay back for a cup of tea and we just talk about the day's work. It is not some high-tech setup, just a practical place where we get the job done. We deal with various metal parts and mechanical jobs. It is hard work, standing on the floor all day, but we are used to it by now. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. More shops have come up, but we are still here in the same spot. If you are coming down Dehu Alandi Road, you can easily find us near Shelar Wasti. We keep our tools ready and just take it one job at a time.
