Shree Varun Tours & Travels

Shree Varun Tours & Travels has been operating out of Sadashiv Peth for a good while. Our office is at 1057 on Tilak Road, basically right across from the Tata Pump and Hotel Kanchan Vihar. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always the sound of horns and buses passing by. Inside Kanchan Vihar, things are a bit quieter. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at computer screens, trying to figure out bus timings and train schedules. Traveling sounds fun, but the planning part is actually quite a headache for most people, so that’s where we come in. We sit here in the office, drink some tea, and talk to people about where they want to go. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just a few of us making sure tickets get booked and nobody gets stranded. Sometimes the internet is slow or the booking sites act up, and we have to deal with that. Sadashiv Peth is the heart of the city, so we get all sorts of people walking in. Some know exactly what they want, others are just confused. We just try to get the paperwork done so they can go on their way. It’s a simple routine. We open up in the morning, handle the bookings, and close up once the work is finished. No big secrets to it, just keeping track of dates and names and making sure the printers have enough ink.
