Shree Siddhivinayak Art

The shop is tucked away at 11 Dhayari in Yashwant Vihar, right across the road from Khenal Hospital. Moving away from the main city center has given us a little more space to breathe and focus on our projects. Shree Siddhivinayak Art isn't a polished gallery with white walls; it’s just a place where things are made by hand. Walking in, you’ll likely see unfinished pieces, cans of paint, or wooden frames leaning against the corner. While Dhayari is generally more relaxed than central Pune, having a hospital nearby keeps the street active throughout the day. Our days are spent on various artistic projects, ranging from big commissions to small items for people in the neighborhood. No one here follows a rigid schedule; we just work until a piece is finished or our eyes get tired. Yashwant Vihar is mostly residential houses and a few shops, so we’ve gotten to know the local families quite well over time. They often pop in just to see what’s on the workbench or to have a quick chat about nothing in particular. Morning light in the shop is usually the best for us, so that’s when the detailed painting work happens. Life here is simple, mostly centered on the art and keeping the shop going through the week. We aren't trying to pretend to be high-end, we’re just local people creating things in our own way. It’s a messy, creative space that works for us. Sometimes the brushes need cleaning and the floor needs a sweep, but that's just part of the process.
